Find the Formatting Options
First, make sure you are in edit mode of a task. You'll know you're in edit mode because the name of the window will say "Edit..." and the instructions will be editable.
To access formatting options, use your cursor to highlight the text you want to customize.
A new list of options will appear:
B button to bold text
U button to underline text
Your choice of 10 colors
Link icon to add a hyperlink
Phone icon to add a phone number
Undo icon to reset formatting
Bold, Underline, and Change Text Colors
You can format instructions to be bolded, underlined, and change the text color. All 3 of these customizations can be used by themselves or in combination with each other.
Highlight the text to open up your formatting options.
Choose to bold, underline or change text colors as desired.
(Note: you can only make one type of customization at a time. To make additional changes, highlight the text again and the formatting changes will reappear.)
Adding Hyperlinks and Phone Numbers
To add a hyperlink, highlight your text and click on the hyperlink icon.
This will open a window where you can paste the URL you want to include. Once you've added the URL, click "OK."
(Note: hyperlinks can be bolded and underlined, but the color will always be blue and cannot be changed to a different color.)
To add a hyperlink, highlight your text and click on the phone icon.
This will open a window where you can add the phone number you want to include. Once you've added the phone number, click "OK."
(Note: you cannot use custom colors, bolding or underlining with phone numbers. Phone numbers will always be blue)
Reset Text Formatting
To reset text formatting to its original state, highlight your text to be taken to the formatting options. Click the undo icon and the text will revert to its original formatting.
