Overview
Audit logs gives 21CFR customers a clear record of user actions and automated system actions, making it easy to review past activity for audits and internal reviews.
Instead of requesting manual exports, Super Users can quickly access the logs right from Limble — saving time and reducing admin work.
This article will show you how to view, filter, and export activity using audit logs.
Table of Contents
How it Works
To access audit logs, Super Users will navigate to Settings > Audit Logs.
All actions will be listed here, organized in the following columns:
"Timestamp" is the time and date when the action was taken. All logs are shown in the Super User's timezone.
"Action" is what was done in the system.
"User" is the Limble user who took the action.
"Data" is the additional metadata about the action that was taken.
Actions update once a day and may take up to 48 hours to post. If you need access to actions that have not yet posted, reach out to our support team.
(Note: at this time, audit logs are only available in English.)
Filtering & Exporting Logs
You can filter logs by the following:
Action
User
Date Range
Task ID
Asset ID
Part ID
Location ID
PO ID
Vendor ID
Where to Find IDs
Where to Find IDs
Task IDs: Found in the task name or by exporting tasks from:
Dashboard widget
Manage Work page
Open Tasks page
Completed Tasks page
Asset, Part, and Vendor IDs: Found in the item's card or by exporting from:
Manage Assets page
Manage Parts page
Manage Vendors page
PO IDs: Found by exporting POs from the Purchase Order page.
Location IDs: Found in the Work Request Portal URL (via the Setup and Configure Work Requests page).
To export your logs as an .xslx file, click the "Export" button.
