Overview

You can add several different file types to quickly access documents that you need in Limble.

This article will cover the accepted file types in Limble and tips to access files that can't be added directly within Limble.

Table of Contents

Accepted File Types

Document Uploader

The following file types can be added through the document uploader:

  • Documents

    • .csv, .doc, .docx, .dwg, .dxf, .eml, .igs, .mcam, .msg, .mxc-7, .nc, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .rar, .rpt, .rss, .sldprt, .stp, .txt, .xls, .xlsx, and .zip files

  • Images

    • .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, and .svg files

(Note: The document uploader does not have the markup or crop function for images. This is why we recommend using the image uploader for those file types.)

Image Uploader

The following file types can be added through the image uploader:

  • .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, and .svg files

Upload File Size Limit

The upload size limit for files of any kind is 50MB. This ensures that Limble can run efficiently without lag or slower load times.

Why Can't I Use [This] File Type?

If your desired file type is not included on our list of supported file types, it may be due to the following:

  • The file type does not comply with our security practices and therefore will not be accepted by Limble.

  • The file type is too large and cannot be made small enough to meet our upload limits

  • The file type is not compatible with Limble's functionality

To include a file that is not supported by Limble, you can add a hyperlink to a site outside of the Limble app. We recommend this for videos or other large files that would otherwise impact Limble's speed or functionality.
