How it Works
The reorder understocked parts feature audits your inventory to look for parts that are below their minimum quantity threshold and sold to you by a selected vendor.
This allows you to quickly and efficiently put together purchase orders for understocked parts without having to individually add them to a PO.
There are a few things to keep in mind:
When using this feature, understocked parts will be added to the PO regardless of preferred vendors. If a part is below its minimum quantity threshold and is sold by the vendor you selected, it will be added to the PO even if you have designated a different vendor as the preferred vendor.
If there are no understocked parts sold by the selected vendor, or if there is already an existing PO, a new PO will not generate.
Using the Reorder Understocked Parts Feature
Navigate to the Manage Parts page.
From the toolbar, click "POs." Then from the dropdown, select "Order Understocked Parts."
In the new window, click on your desired vendor and then "Select" to confirm your choice.
A new PO will populate with all parts under their minimum quantity threshold sold by the selected vendor.
