In many instances, more than one user needs to work on a task. Logging time without completing and closing out a task can be done so multiple users can complete a task.

This article shows how a user can log time without completing a task so multiple users can work on it.

Who Can Work on a Task?

In order for a user to work on a task, they should be assigned to it! Any user or team assigned to a task can log time on a task.

Other users with the right permissions, such as Super Users or Managers, can access a task and log time on behalf other users.

Logging Time

When a user is assigned to a task but only needs to complete some of the instructions, they can log their time without closing out a task.

To do this, click green action button, and from the new list options, the log time icon.

This allows you to track multiple time entries from multiple people on multiple dates.

(Note: you need at least two users to create a team.)
