Dashboards are a great way for you and your team to view real-time data, but for stakeholders in your organization who don’t use Limble but do need to see your output, reports allow them to review that data, too.
In this article, you’ll learn how to export and share reports from your dashboards.
Table of Contents
How to Print a Dashboard as a PDF
Printing any dashboard in Limble as a PDF is as easy as clicking a button - because all you have to do is click a button!
Print Global Dashboard as a PDF
Locate your global dashboard by selecting the globe icon on the navigation menu.
Click “Print.” Your PDF will automatically begin downloading.
Print Custom Dashboard as PDF
Locate your custom dashboards by selecting the gauge icon on the navigation menu.
Click the printer icon from the toolbar on the top right-hand side. Your PDF will automatically begin downloading.
By default, Limble can only show one custom dashboard at a time. To select a different dashboard, click the caret icon next to the dashboard name. From the drop-down, you can select a different custom dashboard to view and print.
Exporting Widget Data from the Global Dashboard
Data from widgets within the global dashboard can be exported out of Limble as well.
Exporting Data from Location Widgets
Clicking a location widget will redirect you to the Manage Work page for the selected location. In this example, we’ll select the house location.
To export task data, click the “Import/Export” button in the top right corner, then choose “Download Tasks to Excel.”
Exporting Data from Open Maintenance, Total Cost of Operations, Maintenance Performance & Employee Performance
To export data from all other widgets on your global dashboard, click any widget to be redirected to a new pop-up. In this example, we’ll choose the open planned maintenance widget.
Within the widget, you have two printing options.
The cloud icon will export the widget data to an Excel list. You will have the option to “ Export Visible Data” or “Export All Data.” Click the option you’d like to export, and your Excel file will begin to download.
(Note: exporting visible data will include only the fields shown in the widget while exporting all data will pull everything related to the selected record - which could be a lot!)
The printer icon allows you to bulk print tasks.
You’ll have the option to filter out a number of line items such as comments, completion notes, location, status, and more.
Once you’ve filtered the information, select the tasks you want to export and click “Select.”
It will take a moment to prepare the document, roughly one second per task selected. When it’s ready, click “Print,” and your Excel file will begin to download.
(Note: this feature is not available for custom dashboards.)
