Overview
This article will cover how to reset passwords.
Table of Contents
Reset Your Password
The first option to reset a password is on Limble's login screen. Underneath the login, select the question, "Forgot Password?"
Enter your email into the next pop-up tile and click "Reset Password." This will send you a new, randomly generated password.
(Note: reset password emails can mistakenly move to spam. If you don't receive an email, be sure to check your spam or junk folder and move the message to your inbox to avoid this in the future.)
After you log in with your new password, you can change your password by clicking on your profile and then selecting “Change Password.”
Reset the Password of Another User
Only Super Users can create a password on behalf of another user.
Enter a New Password
Navigate to the Manage Users page from the navigation menu. Once there, find the user whose password you want to reset.
Click on the lock icon to the right of the user’s name.
In the pop-up window, you will be prompted to enter a new password for the user.
(Note: when you enter a new password for the user, they will not get an automated notification. You will need to email them with the password.)
Generate a New Password
If you want to generate a random password for the user, click on the arrows icon to the right of the user’s name.
A pop-up window will appear asking if you are sure you want to reset the password for the user. Select "Yes."
An email will be sent to the user with a randomly generated password. The user can use this to log into Limble and then change their password.
